Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible to receive PFET benefits:

   1. Police Officers:

         a. Must have completed any/all applicable Employment Probation.

         b. Must be a full time sworn law enforcement officer (federal, state, county, municipal

            government or public or private college or university).

         c. Employer must certify that you are a full time police officer with a general power of arrest.

         d. Must be in good standing with employer.

         e. Must acquire the home being purchased as a primary residence.

         f. Must meet all standard credit criteria established by lending institution.

         g. Must certify that the home being purchased is located in the jurisdiction in which they work.

   2. Firefighters:

         a. Must have completed any/all applicable Employment Probation.

         b. Employer must certify that you are a full time firefighter.

         c. Must be in good standing with employer.

         d. Must acquire the home being purchased as a primary residence.

         e. Must meet all standard credit criteria established by lending institution.

         f. Must certify that the home being purchased is located in the jurisdiction in which they work.

   3. EMS:

         a. Must have completed any/all applicable Employment Probation.

         b. Employer must certify your full time involvement with Emergency Medical Services.

         c. Must be in good standing with employer.

         d. Must acquire the home being purchased as a primary residence.

         e. Must meet all standard credit criteria established by lending institution.

         f. Must certify that the home being purchased is located in the jurisdiction in which they work.

   4. Teachers:

         a. Must have completed any/all applicable Employment Probation.

         b. Employed full time by a public school, private school, or federal, state, county or municipaleducational agency

             as a state certified classroom teacher or administrator in grades k-12, collegiate and/or graduate degree levels.

         c. Participants must certify that they are employed by an educational agency that serves the school

             district/jurisdiction in which the home that they are purchasing is located.

         d. Employer must certify that they are a full time school administrator or teacher.

         e. Must be in good standing with employer.

         f. Must acquire the home being purchased as a primary residence.

         g. Must meet all standard credit criteria established by lending institution.

   5. Retiree’s of PFET Employers:

         a. Employee must provide verification of retirement from an eligible PFET association.

         b. Must acquire the home being purchased as a primary residence.

         c. Must meet all standard credit criteria established by lending institution.
